I own over seven of these name brand pots ranging in size from the largest to mid sized. The pictures are from my most recent purchase. I love them all! They are so much more durable than terracotta. Everyone that sees them thinks that they are terracotta. The first three pots I purchased at a local garden center in Ohio. That was almost eighteen years ago, and they still look fabulous! They clean up extremely well. They have survived many moves over the almost two decades moving from Ohio, Oklahoma, Colorado, and now Florida! After reading some of the negative reviews I was compelled to respond with truth and my first hand experience. These pots are worth the price! They outlast and outperform any other type of pot out there. You can feel confident in growing any edibles as the material used is all food safe. As far as all the complaining that “oh my goodness the pots are cheap and plastic”, obviously know zero about true quality products. Maybe they need to do a bit more research and investigating before jumping to conclusions. As for the price, these pots are made to LAST. They have a thick barrier that surrounds the pot protecting the roots from temperature extremes. All my trees in freezing or blazing heat are able to survive potted on my front and back porch. I would like to see a terracotta pot perform like that. Terracotta is thin and breakable, not to mention it fades. I do not really like or have the time to sit and write reviews, but was compelled to write this one. I hope you can now make a truly informed decision based on my personal, honest, and long term experience with this company and their product.
