I am a very experienced and avid homestead gardener, I take all my tools, planters, amendments, and other garden items very seriously. Honesty is my reviewing policy!This 3X3ft, 12" high square metal raised bed is well-designed for the most part and is highly robust and sturdy once assembled. It is open bottomed which allows long root plants to reach the under-bed soil.Assembly is quick and easy. No more than 15-minutes at most. The galvanized steel with powder coating in the color shown is rust-resistant and holds up to weather extremely well.Unlike many on the market at this price point, this one is constructed with screws and wingnuts for stability and security. This is not at all daunting. Easy peasy!The bed has a very robust system of corner attachment that is built for strength and security. On this Highpro model which is extremely similar to the Zizin raised beds available on Amazon, it uses metal corner caps vs the heavy duty plastic caps on Zizin models that I actually prefer. The corner caps protect from injury and further secure the corners. They are very functional for those purposes. All the mounting hole positions match up perfectly during assembly There are no sharp edges or other areas that could potentially result in injury during assembly...UNLIKE many other corrugated metal beds that have edges and corners that require caution or gloves during assembly.One advantage of this raised bed in comparison with similar metal raised beds is the use of wing nuts vs bolt nuts for securing the sections. Not only does this make assemble easier, but also makes disassembly for storage far easier than bolt nutsThe rigidity of this bed is excellent, and the powder-coated exterior is very aesthetic as well. This bed really looks nice in a garden...and is especially important if appearance is an important factor in a buying decision.Lightweight, yet robust in performance. The rust-resistant and smooth outer surfaces are easy to clean if desired.Our use for this 3X3 raised bed is to put it in a remote area away from our other beds, and plant Melons, Pumkins and some squashes in the four corners to allow the large leaf runners to have plenty of room to wander. This is a perfect use for this smaller bed. Others will use this for regular veggies, and this size is outstanding for creating a very aesthetic flower garden in view of a patio or while walking a garden.This inexpensive and highly strong, functional and aesthetic appearance 3X3X1 Raised Bed from Highpro clearly rings the bell for design, function,and build! I wanted a flower bed to go right in front of my fence. I have a lawn mowing company so I needed to ensure the flowers wouldn't get run over as they were growing. This garden bed looked perfect.Once the item arrived it was easy to assemble and directions were basic but straightforward. The item felt a little flimsy for something I was going to be putting outside. I also wish it had small holes or loops in the bottom of the frame for steaking it down. The frame also has small gaps around the corners so water and dirt can get out and bugs and such can get in. I am not a huge fan of that part of the design. Overall it has worked and it does stay still but it feels like if we get a bad storm it might not hold up. Overall it is okay but I wish it was designed slightly better.This HighPro raised garden bed arrived well packaged and in good time. There are no instructions included, but it really doesn't take much thought to put it together.A nice idea is the use of wing-nuts with the hex-head bolt, so assembly went well by hand until the final tightening took place.There are a few sharper edges to keep an eye on, all of them in/on the corners, but there is nothing particularly obvious as being a risk.All in all, a simple idea, a neat little raised bed for a reasonable cost.Recommended!They can be a pain to assemble. I recommend having a couple of people help. But the end result is worth it. I really like these beds.As metal garden beds go, this is a very lackluster garden bed. Nothing really special about it, but it is very functional and perfect for outdoor use. The box it comes in has everything you need to put this together except an instruction sheet and had to take a star off for that. You have four panels and four corners and 16 screws and thumb nuts to go with them. There are no spare parts but if you lose one a hardware store would have it. The corners are nicely made, with the bottom having a hole drilled into be able to attach or anchor it down to the ground or a wood surface if needed. Putting it together doesn't take to long, maybe 30 minutes and no tools are required as it can be just hand tightened but tools are highly recommend. Overall it's a basic garden bed and does it job nicely. This one is small and on the low end cost wise. I feel it is a good value because of the low price but along with that, it is not a heavy duty bed. It does go together easily and has good corners as well as wing nuts. The top edge is not sharp like some of this type of beds are. It is a good choice for vegetable plants that do not have deep roots but not for root crops such as potatoes or carrots.The 3x3x1 galvanized metal planter box is perfect for expanding our garden and to allow separate growing space for vining plants. Perfect for melons, squashes and pumpkin plates grow large leaves. By having the raised bed, the garden will also look neater and be easier to maintain in a raised bed than if planted in the ground.It is made of a very sturdy galvanized steel that is weather and rust resistant, which will help with its longevity. The fact that it is assembled using nuts and wing bolts, you could realistically take this apart every season to ensure that it lasts longer.Also, it has an open bottom so plants can grow roots in ground that the planter is placed on top of. The construction is also on point with the protected corner attachments and rolled edges for safety. I can see adding a few more of these for those solo growing space needed plants, and really enjoying watching those plants thrive in their own little grow space. There is just an adherent beauty of the large leaves and beautiful flowers.Highly recommended addition to your garden.
