PROS:* overall build and materials quality higher than expected -- finished unit feels solid and durable.* attractive design and simple, straightforward assembly.* twin shelf + trellis combo = loads of utility that most other planters can't match.CONS:* black finish, while classy, shows every speck of dirt.* bed drainage not the best, empties onto upper shelf. This ended up being perfect for my tiny backyard slab, and much better quality than I expected. The bed and shelves are made of pretty thick steel, and the finish looks baked-on and tough. The finished piece is solid and fairly heavy even when empty. More cheap furniture should be this robust.Assembly was fairly typical for this sort of thing, though I strongly recommend a power or ratchet driver to speed it along. The small hardware bag includes some spares, which is nice when you're as good at dropping things as I am.I love having storage options, so the twin-shelf layout is a huge plus. Not a feature you'll often find in any price range, so having it in something this affordable is worth a star all by itself. The trellis and its hanging pots are nice to have as well, and add a stylish note to an otherwise basic design. My only real complaint is that keeping this thing clean is going to be a headache: that nice black finish gets spotted up pretty quickly, and it remains to be seen how well it weathers the elements over time. I'll also note that the empty unit is not immune to high winds, but hopefully 30 pounds of soil and flowerpots will solve that issue. In all, though, quite satisfied with this purchase. It exceeded my expectations, and that's rare enough these days.
